    Q: What is the difference between dual-color injection molding and ordinary overmolding?
    A: Dual-color injection molding is completed on a specialized dual-color injection molding machine equipped with two barrel injection systems. The mold automatically rotates and switches inside the machine. Immediately after the rigid plastic is injected and before its surface has completely cooled, the soft rubber is injected. The two materials bond in a semi-molten state, resulting in tightly intertwined molecular chains. In contrast, ordinary overmolding usually requires workers to manually remove the rigid plastic parts after they have cooled down, and then manually place them into another standard injection molding machine for secondary injection. This leads to a longer production cycle, and due to heat loss, the bonding strength between the two materials is far inferior to that of dual-color injection molding.

    Q: How do you guarantee that the enclosure can meet IP65 or IP67 waterproof and dustproof ratings?
    A: We achieve this primarily through two key approaches: Structural Design Advantage:We take full advantage of dual-color injection molding to directly co-mold a soft rubber sealing ring (TPE) at the joint/groove interface of the front or rear housing. This completely replaces traditional manual silicone O-ring placement.
