A: We use sub-gating (hidden gating) or pin-gating on the underside. All gate locations are placed on the inside or hidden bottom edges. Once assembled, no gate marks are visible, providing a completely smooth surface for subsequent pad printing or spray coating and laser etching, ensuring visual perfection.

Q: What is the difference between laser-engraved backlit legends and standard printed characters? How do you ensure durability?
A:Backlighting Principle: Screen/pad printing applies ink directly onto the surface, ideal for non-backlit markings. Laser etching typically starts with a transparent/translucent substrate (like PC), coated with an opaque paint layer; a high-precision laser then selectively removes the paint to reveal the clear plastic underneath, allowing light (such as RGB backlighting) to shine through.
Durability Guarantee: After laser etching, we apply an additional layer of high-hardness clear protective coating (UV or PU coating). This prevents paint peeling from daily wear and tear, easily passing cross-hatch adhesion tests and tens of thousands of alcohol/eraser rub tests.
